Doom Saviors

An urban fantasy novel taking place in an alternate modern day America in which there is a genocide going on of people known as "Doomers," people with supernatural powers who have been targeted for being "too dangerous." The story follows Mai, an eleven year old girl who becomes a Doomer, and gets brought into a small resistance group who try to keep her safe, while also trying to help her figure out her power. The leader of the group is a man named John who is known for never displaying outward emotions, but is an extremely skilled fighter and is willing to openly challenge those who will see him or his team harm. 

At 120,000 words, I'm looking to get this novel picked up by a literary agent and get published with a publisher. I intend for it to be the first novel in a trilogy, following these characters through a tumultuous time for Doomers and a sort of schism between their people.
