Current Side-Projects

Between querying agents and revising my novel, I tend to have some other projects I'm working on as well.

    Massive Mythological Monstrosities: Aztec Edition

The next MMM will be focusing on the Aztec empire and their mythos, as well as perhaps some modern creatures from Mexican folklore. I'm still in the research phase of this, and I might end up making this edition encompass the broader Mesoamerica to include the Maya and others as well if I feel I need more creatures, but we shall see :) .

Wired: Lesser

A foray into the short story format, I'm working on a brief look into a dystopian cyberpunk-inspired setting, following an unfortunate man who is at the wrong place at the wrong time and ends up in trouble, all over a single pear. May become part of a series of short stories exploring this dystopian world dominated by the insidious Towers LLC. Run by Cyberkinetic technology and the Wires that help transform that energy into revolutionary technology, the Nation exists completely divided by currency and oppression of the poor, with those considered "Lessers" not even given real currency.
