Mai Intergreen- An eleven year old girl who was supposed to be starting 5th grade with a love of softball, but now has turned into a Doomer in the middle of the night, and is thrown into a whole new world because of it. She is picked up by a man named John Saffyour and his team in order to protect her from the ADMS, and is ingratiated into the team and their mission to end the genocide. Mai herself is a determined yet timid young girl, and has to learn what her own power is as she, nor is John's team, sure what exactly it is she can do. It doesn't help that she's had pink hair since she was a little girl, long before her Transformation, giving very little clue . Mai will have to learn not only how to use her power, but to survive in the midst of a war, and adapt to being hunted down simply for existing.
John Saffyour- A 23 year old man with blue hair that is best described as deadpan, at least on the outside. He never displays outward emotion, neither through his voice nor his face, but is a stalwart leader as well, one that his team seems to wholeheartedly support, even if they never know quite what he's thinking. John is also an extremely talented fighter as he was raised and trained by his mentor, The Scouter, and commands mastery of both his gun-sword, and his power to manipulate water. John will stop at nothing to end the genocide and save his people. John wasn't always the dispassionate appearing man he is today, though why he is who he is now is unknown to everyone but him and his girlfriend, Amy Yin.
Amy Yin- A silver haired 22 year old woman who known John the longest of the team, ever since she was taken in by The Scouter after John had discovered she was an orphan. Amy had grown up in an orphanage and never knew her parents, and never got adopted either. Never the less, she has never let that slow her down. Amy is a quiet and protective woman who constantly worries about her friends and loved ones, her power manifesting as transparent indestructible gray walls that she can summon in any shape. Not wanting to use a deadly weapon, she uses a long staff that is charged with enough electricity to incapacitate someone but not seriously damage them. As she grew older, she began to develop feelings for John, but those went unrequited for many years until finally John began to reciprocate, and they have together now for around 3 years.
Clyde Crow- A former police officer with black hair, Clyde is the oldest in the group by more than a decade at 38. He is a stern man who left the police force when he became a Doomer but is still determined to assist people, and came into contact with John and Amy three years ago, where they informed him of their plan to stop the ADMS activity. Now, as things have escalated into a full on genocide, Clyde has more and more become John's second in command when it comes to leadership decisions, and a reliable man he can trust with his life. While Clyde may come off as harsh sometimes, at the end of the day he cares deeply for the group and hates seeing his people suffering. He wields a shotgun that he's owned since he was 18, and has the power to get a bird's-eye view of the area above them when he activates his power, being able to move it and manipulate the perspective as well, giving him a real time view of anywhere with roughly a mile's radius.
Clyde is also the owner of a dog named Jack, who himself is a Doomer. Jack is an extremely intelligent and loyal dog who had been Clyde's partner since he found him in the street 6 years ago. Using his power, Jack is able to create a powerful burst by howling, physically pushing and damaging anything that is in it's way.
Mary Jackson- An eccentric 22 year old woman with green hair with a love for both cars and food, Mary is able to remain remarkably light-hearted despite the dark circumstances she finds herself in, and is always ready for another meal. She's the designated driver of the group and spends a lot of her free time working on "her" car (really Clyde's car) and sprucing it up whenever she can, which of course, works up her appetite. Despite having a dislike of guns, claiming that they give you very little actual control, she wields a pistol and is a pretty good shot. Her power allows her to control nearby animals, being able to influence an animal's actions to the smallest and most precise detail. Clyde experienced this first hand when she flew a fly up his nose.
